Over-exposure
This is where too much light is recorded by the sensor or film, and can be caused by too large an
aperture, too long an
exposure or too high an ISO setting. Any of these can be compensated for by the others, and it takes the right balance to get the right
exposure. Over-exposure results in blown-out highlights in the photo.
